Abstrak

Kanker payudara merupakan penyakit kronis yang memerlukan terapi jangka panjang serta sering menimbulkan dampak psikologis yang memengaruhi keberhasilan pengobatan. Self efficacy dan motivasi berperan penting dalam mendorong pasien untuk tetap menjalani terapi sesuai anjuran. Rendahnya kedua aspek tersebut dapat menurunkan kepatuhan pengobatan dan memperburuk kondisi kesehatan. Salah satu intervensi yang dapat diberikan adalah psikoedukasi, yaitu pendekatan yang bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan, kemampuan koping, dan kesiapan pasien dalam menghadapi penyakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh psikoedukasi terhadap self efficacy dan motivasi menjalani pengobatan pada pasien kanker payudara di RS Pusri Palembang. Penelitian menggunakan desain pre-experimental dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest. Sampel berjumlah 70 pasien yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengukuran self efficacy dilakukan menggunakan General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSE), sedangkan motivasi diukur dengan Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (IMI). Sebelum intervensi, sebagian besar responden memiliki self efficacy rendah (65,7%) dan motivasi rendah (65,7%). Setelah pemberian psikoedukasi, proporsi responden dengan i tinggi meningkat menjadi 82,9%, sedangkan motivasi tinggi mencapai 80,0%. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa psikoedukasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan self efficacy (Z = -3,464; p = 0,001) dan motivasi (Z = -3,317; p = 0,001). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa psikoedukasi efektif diterapkan sebagai intervensi keperawatan nonfarmakologis untuk meningkatkan keyakinan diri dan motivasi pasien kanker payudara selama menjalani pengobatan.
